It's interesting though how the focus varies between professions. I'll be talking about interviews next week as I have a few things to say on that subject too ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09915414030829752922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5703439432572052691.post-90876458737572881512013-03-14T19:18:03.526+00:002013-03-14T19:18:03.526+00:00I love the tea bag and chocolate idea. Would be good to be a boss then :p.

For teaching it's completely different as the CV doesn't matter as much as the interview lesson. We have to showcase our teaching skills in a 20minute lesson using ICT, differentiation and piles full of great resources! All in 20minutes! Insanity!

Abby Wnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5703439432572052691.post-31392654639105584982013-03-14T13:16:38.425+00:002013-03-14T13:16:38.425+00:00Funny you should say that - I just discovered this...Funny you should say that - I just discovered this article about creative CVs which make an impression without going to the lengths above: http://mashable.com/2011/05/20/social-media-resumes/ I particularly like the hamster example :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09915414030829752922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5703439432572052691.post-2893045798789839442013-03-14T12:47:07.166+00:002013-03-14T12:47:07.166+00:00Wow, I like that idea. I think it is possible to stand out by doing something smaller than hiring a billboard though. I've noticed candidates who just add a tiny splash of colour to their CV to make it different, and especially one awesome girl who linked to her own website of photography and writing. Anything that makes someone remember you, or look at your CV for more than 10 seconds.Alexahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05179956399980333811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5703439432572052691.post-9002047074410448462013-03-13T21:54:40.613+00:002013-03-13T21:54:40.613+00:00Thanks Tom!
